Bert Jansch, Jack Orion, LP UK Transatlantic 1966 - TRA 143 

Bill Leader is the producer of this splendid album, a true classic of British folk. The original Transatlantic edition is illustrated with photographs and drawings by Brian Shuel. Some drawings are by Jansch himself and also appear on the 1971 Vanguard edition. Very interesting for sound quality is the American CD edition of 1991 which uses the alternative cover of the American vinyl. More recently the Italian Earmark (a joint venture of Sanctuary) has reissued the vinyl reproducing the original cover.

Bill Leader è il produttore di questo splendido album, un vero e proprio classico del folk britannico. L'edizione originale Transatlantic è illustrata dalle fotografie e dai disegni di Brian Shuel. Alcuni disegni sono opera dello stesso Jansch e compaiono anche nell'edizione Vanguard del 1971. Molto interessante per qualità di suono è l'edizione americana su CD del 1991 che riprende la copertina alternativa del vinile americano. Più recentemente l'italiana Earmark (una joint venture della Sanctuary) ha ristampato il vinile riproducendo la copertina originale.
