Originally commissioned by the American Kicking Mule, this album was released in Europe by Sonet (and in Spain by Guimbarda) with this cover. Playing alongside Bert are Martin Jenkins (mandocello/violin/flute/vocal), author of splendid arrangements, and Nigel Portman Smith (bass/Fender Rhodes/accordion). Producer Nick Kensey is also the one who recorded the album at the Livingstone Studios in London. The cover photograph is by Eddie Babbage.
