Besides Jacqui, Bert Jansch is still on this Pentangle, always present with extraordinary vitality; just listen to the instrumental "Straight Ahead" to realize this. But there are also some very fine traditional songs, like "The Toss of Golden Hair." The album's opening is admittedly a bit ethereal, abstract; the impression might not be pleasant, especially considering the sidereal spaces of Kieran Jansch's cover. But then, track after track, the album takes off and the sounds become intense and engaging, the band's trajectory is not yet declining.

Oltre a Jacqui c'è ancora Bert Jansch in questi Pentangle, sempre sulla scena con straordinaria vitalità; è sufficiente ascoltare la strumentale "Straight Ahead" per rendersene conto. Ma ci sono anche dei traditionals di gran pregio, come "The toss of Golden Hair". L'inizio dell'album è in verità un po' etereo, astratto, l'impressione potrebbe non risultare gradevole soprattutto a guardare gli spazi siderali della copertina di Kieran Jansch. Ma poi, brano dopo brano, l'album decolla e le sonorità diventano intense e coinvolgenti, la parabola del gruppo non è ancora discendente.
