John Renbourn, The Black Balloon, LP US Kicking Mule 1979 - KM 163 

A successful album that went through several reissues: the first two in 1979, the European and American versions, featured different artwork. This is the American edition by Kicking Mule. The illustrations, titled "Uncle Lubin," are by William Heath Robinson (1872-1944), while the 1986 Canadian vinyl features artwork created by Look Out! In 2005, Castle offered a digital remaster. The original recording was made by engineer David Lord at Crescent Studios in Bath, Somerset. Total time 37:28.
