John Renbourn's Volume One: The Soho Years is a 1986 compilation album released on Transatlantic Records capturing his early folk and blues recordings from the London club scene. The album highlights the material Renbourn recorded during his formative years performing in the coffee houses and clubs of Soho, London, before he co-founded the folk-rock band Pentangle. It was followed by a companion release, The Essential Collection Vol 2: The Moon Shines Bright, in 1987.
