John Renbourn, Live in Kyoto 1978, LP US Drag City 2018 - DC713

From the drawers of Drag City comes a new live album by John Renbourn, recorded at the Jittoku Coffeehouse in Kyoto on May 30, 1978. It features thirteen tracks, available both digitally and on vinyl. Some renditions of well-known pieces, including "The Cuckoo," are truly remarkable. The recording was made by Satoru Fujii. The cover features the painting "Scenes In and Around the Capital," held at the Metropolitan Museum.
